Dear News,

Stop giving DC the credit for our earthquake. I know that it's harder for the American populace to mentally pinpoint a state than the nation's capital, so I see why you're doing it. But we don't exactly get earthquakes here very often, and since this one was a good one (notably vibrational, but no significant damage or injuries), we'd kind of like to keep it.

Besides, Barack Obama didn't even feel it.

Shh, I'm not blogging...

Dear Grocery Store,

Why don't you ever come to me?

Don't get me wrong, I don't have any pretenses about this being an exclusive relationship. But I feel like we do great things when we're together. This is just a busy time in my life, and I don't always have the time to go all the way out to your place. Maybe if, sometimes, you could be the one who comes to see me, then we could be together more often.

I'll be waiting for you.
